Allergan Stand at IFSO Exhibition
Allergan is a global pharmaceuticals company. The company has commercial operations in approximately 100 countries creating eye and skin care and aesthetic products.
Held at the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO) World Congress in Hamburg, Allergan were looking to have an exhibition stand to showcase their new product, the LAP-BAND AP System; a tool to help people achieve sustained weight-loss by limiting how much they can eat, reducing appetite and slowing digestion.
The IFSO is a federation composed of national associations of bariatric surgeons – it is one of the leading congresses on obesity. The world congress gives the surgeons a chance to view the treatment and advancements from around the globe, thus making it the ideal place for Allergen to enlighten surgeons about their technology.
Based on a design concept created by Linney Group, we were contacted to provide the project management and on-site installation of the exhibition stand. We were also tasked with organising the fabrication transport to the event in Hamburg from Allergan’s headquarters in Dublin.
The stand was open planned so that visitors could enter from all sides. There were interactive touch screen presentations available meaning that surgeons were able to run through the concept without the need for Allegan staff – especially useful at busier times.
Allergan’s space also comprised a café-like seating area where visitors could relax with hot drinks made by hired baristas. This was the ideal means for Allergan to discuss with visitors the benefits of the LAP-BAND AP System. A product demonstration area was also developed.
