Exhibition stand at premier business event

The annual CBI Conference is the premier business event in the UK. It draws a large audience of senior executives and high-profile speakers.

The conference has an accompanying exhibition which showcases products and services from FTSE 100 companies, growing businesses and the public sector. As the CBI Conference attracts a high concentration of Britain’s most influential business leaders, exhibitors benefit from direct contact with every delegate.

The exhibition was the ideal place for Diageo, the global leader in the alcoholic beverage sector, to showcase their company message and make an impact on British businesses. Diageo was looking for a company to help with the management of all aspects of their exhibition stand including design concepts, technical requirements, AV technology and the build and install of the stand.

Our eye-catching design for the stand included a bar area with two display towers. One tower was a dispensing bar with product displays at eye-level. These displays within the walls had integral lighting to create a glow, illuminating the bottles. The second tower was made visible from the main entrance to the exhibition and had a table built into it for discussion, as well as plasma screens built in at angles for all approaches.

The conference stage was mixed with the exhibition area, allowing delegates to circulate around the exhibition stands without being far from conference sessions. For this reason, the stand was open-plan, welcoming delegates from most directions.

With sole responsibility for the delivery of all the exhibition work, we were successful in creating a stand that was one of the most popular, attracting discussion and delegates. We created an exciting environment for knowledge sharing, networking and lively discussion.
